Lost & Found - The bin is located by the restrooms for lost and found items. Unclaimed items are donated to a local children's shelter by the end of the season.

REMINDER: homeowners are not permitted to allow the use of the key card by anyone other than authorized resident family members. The ability to bring guests to the pool is intended to provide members with an opportunity to entertain a guest on occasion – not regularly. It is not intended to permit teens or other members to offer a complimentary pool membership to friends or family from inside or outside Huntington West. Misuse of the key card can result in loss of access to the pool facilities.


The consensus of members present at the 2021 annual HOA membership meeting recommended the Board adopt a limit of 5 guests per family on occasion. Any member wishing to bring more than 5 guests to the pool has the option of making a reservation for a pool party

and paying the reservation fee.


Pool parties are limited to 15 total (including family members) on Friday/Saturday/Sunday andlimited to 20 total (including family members) Monday through Thursday. Contact the Treasurer (treasurer@hwhoa.org) for reservations.

The following rules apply to every individual - member or guest - upon

entering enclosed pool area, so please read thoroughly:

1. PAYING MEMBER ONLY - Homeowners may not bring non-paying residents of HUNTINGTON WEST to the pool as guests.

2. ACCESS KEY CARD - The access key card shall only be used by the dues-paying household to which it was issued.

3. CHILDREN 13 AND UNDER must be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age and older.) or by a sibling (14 and older) to the pool if their parents deem the older sibling to be responsible for the younger ones.

4. ADULT SWIM ONLY (18 and older) 7 am-9 am, and 9:30 pm-11 pm

5. DO NOT JUMP the FENCE!! - That is considered trespassing.

6. POOL FURNITURE - Keep all pool furniture on the pool deck.

7. GLASS IS NOT ALLOWED inside the pool enclosure- Gwinnett County rule. The county will close our pool immediately if glass of any type is found in the pool area,

including inside the trash cans.

8. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE POOL ENCLOSURE - includes but it is not limited to cigarettes, vaping, e-cigarettes, and cigars.

9. DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS are not allowed inside the pool enclosure.

10. SWIMWEAR - All persons using the swimming pool must take a shower before entering the pool. inappropriate swimwear will not be allowed in the water.

11. HEALTH CONCERNS - Any person having infections or communicable diseases is prohibited from using the pool. Persons having open blisters, cuts, etc. are advised

not to use the pool.

12. HEALTH CONCERNS - Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose, or discharging bodily waste in the pool is strictly prohibited.

13. INFANTS AND KIDS IN DIAPERS - Babies and potty-training children must wear the appropriate "swim diapers” while in the pool. PLASTIC DIAPERS are required on top

of swimming diapers. No diapers are allowed in the pool area. All diaper changes are to be done in the bathroom and not poolside. Dirty diapers must be disposed of

in large, enclosed trash cans outside – not in the restroom.

14. NO FOOD OR DRINKS are allowed in the water. Food and drinks containers must be disposed of in large, enclosed trash cans outside – not in the restroom trash cans.

15. MISCELLANEOUS - Chewing gum, horseplay, running, diving, excessive noise, or profanity will not be tolerated within the pool enclosure, including the restrooms.

Keep restroom doors closed at all times.

16. LOUD MUSIC is NOT allowed in the pool area. Any music should be contained, and heard, only by the person or small group of people playing music.

17. The POOL PARKING LOT is the private property of the Homeowners Association. It is not to be used for anything else but short-term parking, by the homeowners, to

utilize the amenities.

18. The amenities GARBAGE CANS are only to be utilized, by the homeowners, to dispense trash generated on site as one is using the amenities. It is unlawful by the

State of Georgia and Gwinnett County to dispense personal trash on private property.

The Huntington West Homeowners Association reserves the right to refuse admittance to or eject from the pool premises any person(s) failing to comply with the above health and safety regulations. Suspension of the access key card for up to 60 days may apply.
