Unauthorized Vehicles

The Board has received an increasing number of complaints about unauthorized vehicles being operated on our streets - some even with under-aged drivers. Under Georgia law, a local ordinance must be adopted to permit drivers to use golf carts and other personal transportation devices on the roadways. Absent the local ordinance, golf carts are not legal on local streets...period. Even if such an ordinance existed in Huntington West, both local and state law require a person must be 16 years of age and have a valid motor vehicle license to operate a golf cart. It is also unlawful to operate ATVs or UTVs on public streets in Georgia and is unlawful to operate an ATV or UTV on private property in Georgia unless you have the express written permission of the owner. The Annual Meeting of the Membership

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Huntington West is blessed with many generous homeowners willing to help a neighbor in need, even a neighbor they have never met. Our Board would like to thank a trio of neighbors who stepped up to help a single mom who needed repairs to her picket fence. Many thanks to retiree Dave Lawson for volunteering to replace over 50 broken pickets on the fence.

OFFICIAL RESULTS – Board Officers Election

The official results of the recent election for Board officers of the Huntington West Homeowners Association are: A total of 72 ballots were returned and validated. Some ballots did not include votes for every office.

Upcoming Dates

Message from Huntington West Homeowners Association, Inc. - Assessment Remittance Lockbox Update

Heritage will be sending out invoices for 2023 HOA fees soon. Invoices will reflect a slight (5%) increase in mandatory HOA fees, due to rising costs from contractors , especially our pool service contractors. Fees are due May 1. Complete payment information will be included on invoice statements, but please be aware of the following changes to lockbox payment procedures.
