REMINDER - Huntington West Gives Thanks

Don’t forget to sign up to participate in the 20th anniversary of “Huntington West Gives Thanks” to honor and celebrate our dedicated local heroes at Station 18. The project will only involve Mondays this year, so hurry to volunteer to help out on one of the remaining Mondays in November. The 2021 project kicked off this week with Paula and Adam Nelson, Leah, and Tyler Recker, and Susan Powell taking dinner to Station 18 on November 1. The Nelson and Recker kids enjoyed a great treat while visiting with the firefighters and paramedics and checking out the really cool ladder truck! We only have one family signed up for each of the remaining Mondays and would like to have at least two, and maybe even three families to share the task of feeding the 10 members on duty each shift. Be sure to sign up soon for November 8, November 15, November 22, or November 29 - send an email to Susan (secretary@hwhoa.org). Your kids will love the all-star treatment from our friends at Station 18 and you will enjoy the feeling of knowing you have helped to show our appreciation for their service to our community!

The Annual Meeting of the Membership

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Huntington West is blessed with many generous homeowners willing to help a neighbor in need, even a neighbor they have never met. Our Board would like to thank a trio of neighbors who stepped up to help a single mom who needed repairs to her picket fence. Many thanks to retiree Dave Lawson for volunteering to replace over 50 broken pickets on the fence.

OFFICIAL RESULTS – Board Officers Election

The official results of the recent election for Board officers of the Huntington West Homeowners Association are: A total of 72 ballots were returned and validated. Some ballots did not include votes for every office.

Message from Huntington West Homeowners Association, Inc. - Assessment Remittance Lockbox Update

Heritage will be sending out invoices for 2023 HOA fees soon. Invoices will reflect a slight (5%) increase in mandatory HOA fees, due to rising costs from contractors , especially our pool service contractors. Fees are due May 1. Complete payment information will be included on invoice statements, but please be aware of the following changes to lockbox payment procedures.
